FLAP Canada - Ottawa Wing
FLAP Canada is proud to announce the expansion of our bird rescue and education efforts into the City of Ottawa. We are grateful to the amazing initiative of Anouk Hoedeman and Sarah Kirkpatrick-Wahl (with the support of Nature Canada) for launching the FLAP Canada – Ottawa Wing in 2014. Bird rescue efforts by Ottawa volunteers have already revealed a significant bird collision problem for this region.
Bird deaths due to window collisions are a global problem. You can be part of the solution. Start a FLAP-like initiative in your city or neighbourhood.
