This year’s bird layout was dedicated to acknowledging the importance of partnerships for bird conservation, and the fact that migratory birds know no borders. We were honoured to be joined by visitors and speakers from across sectors, including politicians, environmental groups, journalists, artists, glass manufacturers, window cleaners and more. Each of us have a key role to play in our collective movement aimed at saving billions of birds’ lives and addressing the causes of biodiversity loss.

All 4,000 birds in this award-winning photograph by Patricia Homonylo, died of bird-building collisions in the Greater Toronto Area during a single year.
